EDWARD FRYE
FRYE, Edward -Obituary Edward FRYE, aged 81 years, of 930 Marshall avenue, died this morning at 7:30 o’clock after being in failing health for the past year. he had made his home for several years with his daughter, Mrs. W. K. McCaslin. Mr. FRYE, son of the late Daniel and Caroline FRYE, was born October 19, 1865, in Youngstown,Ohio He was retired after being employed as a policeman by the Carnegie-Illinois Steel company. The deceased was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. K. McCaslin, New Castle; two sons, Franke FRYE, Harrisburg,PA and Charles L. FRYE, Transfer,PA; two sisters, Mrs. Lou MICHAELS, Youngstown,O., and Mrs. Stephen B. G. CURRIE, Detroit; two grand-children, Mrs. Karl KRISHBAUM, Youngstown, and Keith MCCASLIN, New Castle, and three great-grandchildren. His wife, Mrs. Ella Irene HAYS FRYE, preceded him in death in 1935, while a son, Merle FRYE, died in 1927. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from the R.L. Boyd funeral home, North Jefferson street, with Dr. S. E. Irvine, pastor of the First U.P. church, officating; Interment will take place in Graceland cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 o’clock.
